What is the best time of year to visit Jordan?
Jordan’s climate varies depending on location and season. Here is what to expect:
Amman
Amman sits at an altitude of 700 to 1,200 metres, offering a generally dry climate. Winters can be chilly, with December to February being the coldest and wettest months-snowfall is rare but possible. Average temperatures range from a brisk 8°C in mid-winter to a warm 27°C in mid-summer. Rain is scarce from June to September, and while summer days can be hot, evenings often bring a refreshing coolness, making a light sweater a good companion. The Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth at 431 metres below sea level, offers a dramatically different climate from Amman, despite being just an hour’s drive away. How to Book
To book, please contact the JiJ Team at booking@journeyinjordan.com and indicate the dates you would like to travel. Once the dates and details of your Journey itinerary are confirmed, payment may be made online using Visa or Mastercard. For larger amounts, JiJ requests payment by bank transfer and will provide you with the relevant payment information. All payments will be acknowledged by invoice and receipt.Payment Information
Please note that a copy of each traveller’s passport is required at the time of booking. Also at the time of booking, please tell JiJ if you have any special requests in relation to matters such as diet and mobility. Jordan has excellent medical facilities. JiJ requires all guests to have comprehensive travel and health insurance before travelling. Insurance details must be provided in advance.

What should I wear in Jordan?
