This seven-day Journey offers a seamless blend of culture, relaxation, and discovery. From ancient Petra to the shores of the Red Sea, each moment is designed to feel both effortless and unforgettable. Here is a look at your itinerary:
Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, you will be greeted by the JiJ team and transferred to the Four Seasons Hotel in Amman. There are no set plans for the afternoon, allowing time to unwind and enjoy a spa treatment included in your Journey. For guests arriving earlier in the day, there is an optional visit to the two remarkable mosques of King Abdullah I and King Hussein. In the evening, join us for welcome drinks and dinner at La Capitale Restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel, with a first introduction to Jordanian wines.
Your exploration of Amman begins at the Roman Amphitheatre, followed by a guided walk through the Amman Citadel, a hilltop site rich in layers of history. Then perhaps a stop at the Royal Automobile Museum which is amongst the finest of its type anywhere in the world and a major attraction in Amman, showcasing an impressive collection of vehicles. Later in the day, we travel to the Dead Sea, arriving at the Kempinski Hotel in time for dinner. The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure.
A full day dedicated to relaxation. Float in the healing waters of the Dead Sea or enjoy a treatment at the hotel’s excellent spa. For those seeking more adventure, there is an optional visit to the warm waterfalls of Ma’in, a natural thermal oasis tucked into the hills. JiJ is on hand to assist you throughout the day. Dinner is served at the hotel, with the option to dine at the Italian restaurant if open.
Depart the Dead Sea and visit one of Jordan’s most sacred Christian sites: the location of Jesus’s baptism along the Jordan River. Also included is a visit to the newly inaugurated Catholic Church of the Baptism of the Lord. Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican Secretary of State, and Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzabella, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, opened the church in January 2025. Onwards to Petra, and your accommodation at the Hayat Zaman Hotel & Resort, where the Four Seasons Hotel will provide the catering. A light refreshment awaits upon arrival. Dinner is served at the hotel and the evening is at leisure.
An early breakfast sets you up for a day exploring the rose-red city of Petra. Your guided tour begins with an electric buggy ride to the iconic Treasury, followed by a walk through ancient tombs, temples, and carvings. Optional camel or donkey rides are available, should you wish to venture further. After a day of wonder, dinner is served back at the hotel.
Leave Petra behind and travel to Aqaba, Jordan’s window to the Red Sea. Check in at the Kempinski Hotel or Al Manara Hotel, and enjoy the remainder of the day at your own pace. If you are staying at the Kempinski there are a variety of complimentary water-based activities, including scuba diving (subject to your prior experience, though an introductory PADI diving course is available), snorkelling, jet/water skiing, paragliding, and power boating. It can be pre-booked with JiJ. In the evening, dine by the sea at the Royal Yacht Club.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing according to your individual schedule. JiJ is happy to arrange to extend your stay in Aqaba, and/or to assist with travel to Amman and additional nights at The Four Seasons Hotel.
The Journey commences every Saturday.
Full Journey (6 nights): USD 9,500 per adult (shared occupancy)
Note: JiJ has negotiated special rates for its single travellers. The single supplement is USD 2,500 for the Journey irrespective of duration and includes sole occupancy of hotel rooms.
Deposit per person: USD 2,000 (within five days of invoice receipt)
Full payment: Required if booking is made 75 days or less before departure
To confirm your booking, a deposit of USD 2,000 per person is required payable online by Visa or Mastercard on a person-by-person basis.
The difference between the deposit and the Journey cost will be invoiced for payment by international bank transfer.
By arrangement, JiJ can issue invoices in EUR, GBP, and JOD. Payments must be made in the currency stated on the invoice.
Balances are due 75 days before the commencement of the Journey. Full payment is required within five working days if the Journey is booked 75 or fewer days before its commencement.

VIP airport services
Tikram VIP Services upon arrival and departure at Queen Alia International Airport, ensuring swift passage through the airport including fast track through passport control and assistance with luggage. Please note: these services are not available at Aqaba Airport.
Private airport transfers
Transport to and from the airport on arrival and departure.
Luxury accommodation
Comfortable en-suite rooms, based on double occupancy. All stays provide standard amenities, with a focus on rest and refinement.
Gourmet dining
Guests may choose freely from restaurant menus, which are typically à la carte except where there is a buffet. Local beers and Jordanian wines are available to accompany meals. Kindly refer to the Journey brochure for details regarding dining arrangements and spending allowances.
Spa treatments
Relaxing spa treatments and massages are included during your stay in Amman and at the Dead Sea.
Entry fees and passes
Admission to all scheduled sites is covered. JiJ will arrange a Jordan Pass for each guest to facilitate entry.
Curated activities
All activities detailed in the itinerary are included and carefully selected for cultural richness and authentic engagement.
Private chauffeured transport within Jordan
Travel throughout the country in style, normally using Mercedes S-Class cars or a luxury Mercedes minibus.
